    Warnings and Cautions

There are some series of books currently in print that have been given a warning label by various parents. Parents complain that these books, written especially for young girls, emphasize values that are not in keeping with empowered teenagers. Some of the authors espouse an extremely non-Wiccan religious moral viewpoint without indicating this on the cover. These series and authors include:

    The Babysitters Club
    Sweet Valley High
    R.L. Stine
    Christopher Pike
